Mandla “Andrew” Ndwanya was passionate about his career as Operations Manager at Volunteer Adventure Corps (VACorps). He began as a maintenance manager for the intern residences and worked his way up to management over a five-year period. His willingness to learn and his innate ability to connect with people from all over the world gave him an advantage when presented with an opportunity to be a program coordinator with VAC in 2011. Andrew worked very hard and loved to show new interns his country and even hosted ‘township homestays’ in his beloved Nyanga neighborhood. In his memory and to further his legacy, the Donald White/Mandla A.
